Sarsha has been actively involved in DANCE for the past 30 years in Australia and overseas, as a student, a teacher and a professional dancer, all of which has included: training, studying, performing, competing, choreographing and teaching.  She has much experience in the areas of Jazz, Hip Hop, Tap, Ballet and Contemporary Dance, and has had highly successful results from students in both Examination and Eisteddfod work, some of whom have gone on further to develop their professional dance careers.

Some of Sarsha’s involvement in DANCE includes the following:                       

· Sarsha has been operating her successful ‘Aspire Dance Studios’ business as Studio Director since Jan   2008.

· Sarsha attended the ‘Anne Fraser School of Dance’ (Sunshine Coast – RAD & CSTD) as a child where she was highly successful in examinations and eisteddfods. 

· She was accepted into Queensland University of Technology (QUT), to study a Bachelor of Arts ‘DANCE’ commencing in 1994.  She completed her degree in 1996 and did further study at university (QUT) of a Graduate Diploma in Education (secondary) majoring in ‘DANCE’ in 1997.  Sarsha is also a qualified and registered QLD Secondary School Teacher.

· Sarsha gained her A.T.O.D. Affiliate Teachers Membership in 1999

· Sarsha was employed at ‘Andrea Dalton Dance Dynamics’ (ATOD – Maroochydore Sunshine Coast) for 5 years as a Dance Teacher.

· Sarsha was selected to perform in the ‘World Dance Expo’ held in Hong Kong in 2000, representing ATOD.

· Sarsha was employed at ‘Noosa Professional Dance Academy’ as a Tap (BBO) and Contemporary teacher for 6 years.

· During High School, Sarsha was heavily involved in the complete process of organising, choreography, directing, teaching and running of her schools Rock Eisteddfods in 1991, 1992 & 1993, where each year the school successfully performed in the Finals. 

· Sarsha has been employed to work at various State Schools in the running of Dance Workshops, Rock

Eisteddfods, Musicals etc.  She has also been involved in various on stage theatre productions throughout her dance career.

 

Sarsha has been involved in numerous dance activities throughout her dance career, too many to mention.  Her love, passion and dedication to Dance are what she believes enhances her love of teaching and her desire to pass on her knowledge to others.
